07/18/03
-Well, Just Keith has some great news
for you all. We will be heading into the studio to start recording music
for our third album (second full-length) this upcoming weekend. The album
will mainly feature the two original band members, Kevin Diefenbaker and Erik
Anderson. Kevin Anderson (lead guitar, vocals) will unfortunately not be
featured on the upcoming album due to him now residing in Boston. Paul
Chambers (keyboards, vocals) will hopefully be added for background vocals on a
couple of tracks, even though he has no idea that Just Keith is even making a
new cd.
-The new album will be almost all
acoustic guitar based with a few tracks having some percussion added for more
effect. The band has about 12-13 songs to sample from and will probably
select about 10-11 songs for the album. The new album will hopefully
feature such songs as "Be With You" (which was written last summer by Erik and
Dief), as well as the new song "Complete Happiness" (lyrics beautifully written
by Erik with music supplied by Dief). Keep checking the site for more
updates on our recordings and plus pictures from our 172 Gunson studio.

-Founding band members,
Kevin Diefenbaker & Erik Anderson, are working on a new demo song, "Be With
You". They hope to have this demo ready in the next week or so.
And no, the song titled "Oh" is not the future of Just Keith, it is a mere
example of Chambers' musical ability.

-Just Keith founding members, Erik Anderson and Kevin
Diefenbaker are hard at work on new material for what would hopefully be another
Just Keith album.
08/01/02
-Lead guitar for Just Keith, Kevin Anderson, leaves the band
due to his move to Boston. He will be greatly missed in the band.

-Just Keith releases their first full-length album
entitled "Above and Beyond". Album sells 345 copies in it's
first week!
11/05/01
-Well, Just Keith has gone back into the recording
studio. We are currently working on about 6 new songs right now for our
first full-length album due out before the new year. We are all really
excited about how these new songs are turning out. We are planning on
re-recording "Incline" and "Further Out" so we can get a
'cleaner' versions of them. We will have an early
demo of one of these new songs on mp3.com in about a week. Take care.

-Just Keith enjoyed their first concert ever last Friday
night. Thanks to all who came out and supported us. Last Friday
night was also our first CD release party. Our first CD,
"Reality" is now available online for purchase at heydief.com.

has reunited and gone back into the studio to record more tracks for their

-Just
Keith has been hard at work on new material for their next album, which will be
their first full-length album. Current release date is October 1, 2001.
-Rumors have been surfacing that Kevin Anderson had left Just
Keith, but that is far from the truth. Kozmo, as referred to by his fellow
band mates, is still in the band and awaiting the band to go back to school in
the fall.
-MTV has signed Just Keith for our second season of 'Making
the Band", look out for us this fall on TV.

-Just
Keith has a new song on mp3.com.
Please check it out. Thanks to all of you that listened to all of our
songs; as a result Just Keith has made $2.97 as a band.
-Due to Just Keith's lead guitar and songwriter, Erik
Anderson living in Sacramento this summer, the band as decided to call it quits
for the next couple of months. Don't worry when September comes rolling
around Just Keith will be back with another album.
-Kevin Anderson was in the studio last week with his fellow
band members. They recorded an unbelievable song titled,
"Incline." Unfortunately, due to its awesomeness, it probably
will not be released until the first official Just Keith album comes out.
-Just Keith was also asked to perform at a Mason/Abbott carnival
at MSU about two weeks ago. Just Keith had tons of unreleased material
ready to play for its fans, but unfortunately Dief and Erik were not going to be
present that afternoon, so the dig did not happen.
2/5/01
-Just Keith has been hired by MTV to run their own version
of "Making The Band." Just Keith has already filmed their first
episode, which will air on national TV in the spring.
-Just Keith welcomes a new band member! Erik's brother,
Kevin Anderson has joined the band at a very crucial and important time.
Kevin Anderson will take over Erik's job as lead guitar. Erik will now
play rhythm on the electric/acoustic guitars. The possibility of Erik
playing the drums on a few tracks is also a strong possibility.
